Just wondering if there’s anyone in here with experience with high mileage 10th gen Impalas. I’ve got a 2015 Impala with the 3.6L V6 currently at 170k and I’ve virtually had no issues with the car, so I’m hoping for it to last me a while longer. Are there any things I should keep an eye out for?
I had a 2014 Impala with the same engine. It was great until about 150k, then I had to replace the water pump. Just something to keep in mind.
Same here! My 2015 had some transmission fluid leaks around that mileage. Make sure to keep an eye on your fluids.

Good to know, I’ll check the fluids regularly. Thanks!
Check the brake pads too. I had to replace mine at around 160k. They can wear out faster than you think.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll keep an eye on those.
I’ve heard the timing chain can be an issue if it hasn’t been replaced. Just something to look into as you hit higher mileage.

I appreciate it! I’ll make sure to monitor that. Seems like good maintenance is key.
Overall, just keep up with regular maintenance and you should be good. These cars can last a long time!
