Can someone verify if this engine is dependable and useful? Do the MPG claims make sense?

Wondering if a 2.7L turbo 4-cylinder truck can handle real work? Here’s the deal:

  • Hauls & tows are decent, but not ideal for super heavy jobs. Check the truck’s towing capacity to be sure.
  • MPG claims might be optimistic. Expect lower numbers, especially when towing or on highways.

*Good for: everyday driving, lighter loads, prioritizing fuel economy.

*Not ideal for: super heavy-duty towing, if towing a lot, check the towing capacities of the V6 and V8 options.

New engine, reliability still being figured out, but early signs are good.

Test drive it with your typical cargo and compare towing capacities if towing is important.
