Got a question for you guys, can you tell me what this is, and is it an easy replacement? It’s currently rattling.
Yeah, I had a similar issue with my Silverado. It was just a loose bolt on the heat shield. Took me like 15 minutes to fix it.

That sounds promising. I’ll check the heat shield first then.
You might want to get under the truck and see if anything’s visibly loose. If it’s just rattling, it’s likely a simple fix.

If it’s a part that needs replacing, you can usually find affordable options online or at auto parts stores. Just make sure you get the right part for your model.

I’d suggest checking the service manual too. It might have some helpful info on what you’re looking for.

If you’re not comfortable doing it yourself, any good mechanic should be able to handle it pretty quickly. Just make sure to explain the rattling sound.
Thanks for the advice. I’ll see if I can fix it myself first, but I’ll keep that in mind.
