2014 chevy cruze oil filter location

I’m curious about the fuel filter location in my 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.4 LT. Could anyone provide some insight? Additionally, I’m wondering if replacing the fuel filter necessitates replacing the fuel pump as well. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey there! For your 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.4 LT, the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump assembly located in the fuel tank.

True, the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump inside the gas tank. About replacement, you won’t need to replace the whole fuel pump when changing the filter unless there’s an issue with the pump itself.

@StaceyReed The fuel filter on the '14 Cruze 1.4 LT is located in the engine bay.

When replacing the fuel filter, you can often do so with no need to replace the fuel pump as well.

However, if the filter is quite old or clogged, it can strain the fuel pump.

If you’re experiencing any issues like poor fuel pressure or performance after replacing the filter, I’d recommend inspecting the fuel pump and potentially replacing it as well.

Or consulting a certified Chevy mechanic would be the best way to get specific recommendations for your vehicle.

Great point @Diane the Cruze 1.4 LT’s fuel filter is part of the in-tank fuel pump-(the engine bay)

Just replace the filter unless the pump itself is faulty
