My 2017 Chevy Malibu makes a popping noise from the back left side whenever I go up or down a slight hill. It has been happening for a week now, and I have no idea what is causing it. Any idea?

@Walker, My friend who owns a 2017 Chevy Malibu, experienced the same problem. A worn-out rear knuckle bushing is a common cause of these Malibus, which causes a popping sound when the suspension is under stress, like when going uphill or downhill.
Here’s what you can do
It is best to have a qualified mechanic look over and fix the suspension if you can’t do it yourself.
