2018 Chevy Cruze won't go past 3000 RPMs...?

Hi all, I have a 2018 Chevy Cruze. Today, out of nowhere, my car seemed to lose power when I hit 65mph. No check engine lights have come on. It seems to drive and shift perfectly fine under 55mph, but once I go over that, the RPMs struggle to go higher. If I set the cruise control at 65mph, it stays around 2500 RPMs, but it would normally be at 2000. I can get past 70mph, but it feels like the RPMs cap out. Any idea how I could fix this? I’m hoping it isn’t the transmission going out.

It could be a turbo issue. My 2017 Chevy Sonic acted similarly, and there was a crack in my turbo.

Have you checked the air filter? A clogged air filter can cause power loss at higher speeds.

I’d also look into the fuel system. If the fuel pump is failing, it could struggle to deliver enough fuel at higher RPMs.

No check engine light is weird. Maybe get a diagnostic scan just in case there are hidden codes.
