I’m trying to decide between a 2018 Chevy Malibu LT FWD and a 2019 Nissan Sentra SV FWD. Which car do y’all think I should get and why?
Friends don’t let friends buy Nissans with a CVT. I’m not a huge fan of the Malibu, but if you have to pick between the two, I’d go with that one.
No way am I picking a Nissan over a Chevy with similar mileage and year.
I don’t trust those new Nissans. Just feels like you might run into issues down the road.
Go for the Sentra if you like carefree driving. But if you want a car that might get you pulled over for a search, the Malibu might be your pick, at least around here.
Malibu has a more reliable transmission and more room. The Sentra gets slightly better MPG, but the Malibu still offers good mileage. Plus, the CVT in the Sentra is known to be unreliable.
