2020 chevy equinox problems

Has anyone had a lot of issues with their Equinox?

Issue 1: When my Equinox was about 1.5 years old and had around 20,000 miles, the engine completely blew while I was driving on the highway. It stalled, and black smoke was coming from the exhaust. I had to get the engine replaced (covered under warranty), but I received little to no explanation for why it happened.

Issue 2: I randomly had a blown AC line that needed to be replaced (also covered under warranty).

Issue 3: The display/radio screen is now starting to randomly black out. One day, it went completely black, and all the radio controls stopped working. After the car was off for a few hours, it started functioning again. Recently, the screen was completely glitched out when I turned the car on.

I have read that there have been a few documented issues with the 2020 Chevy Equinox. Some owners have experienced total engine failure as well as engine stalling. Electrical problems, such as broken radio screens, have also been reported. Even though these issues are not common, it is nevertheless important to be aware of them if you are thinking about buying a used 2020 Equinox.
