2021 Chevy Malibu - having serious issues with my CVT

So I have a relatively new vehicle, and it’s a CVT, which is acting up. It’s currently driving like a standard, jerking into gear. The main issue right now is that when I put it in drive, it doesn’t want to go. The RPMs drop down, then slightly up, then back down under 1, and it goes to OFF. I have to turn it off and then back on, rev it up over 2500 RPMs, and finally, it jerks into gear. This has been happening a lot lately. We had issues with the trans fluid—it was too low, then too much. We gotta check it properly, which involves sitting, putting it in reverse for 10 seconds, and then driving in reverse for another 10 seconds, then sitting for 3 minutes to check it. Has anyone else experienced issues like this? Could it be something like the TCM? Sometimes it works better, but other times it feels like everything is wrong. There’s no check engine light on, surprisingly :skull:. Also, my screen is broken (I broke it out of anger), and while it was working for music and maps, I’m now getting a warning message for no reason, and it won’t connect to Bluetooth or anything. Can anyone help other than telling me to replace it or go to the dealer?

I have a 2023 Malibu with no such problems.

Yes, CVT with a 1.5L engine.

If you would have looked in your owner’s manual when you bought the car, you would have found the factory maintenance schedule. It tells you when to perform every service.

Take it to the dealer to get it fixed or get rid of the car.
