I have been deciding between the Chevy Trax and the Trailblazer. I noticed the Trailblazer has a slightly bigger engine. I’m not sure which one is the better choice. If neither works out, I am also considering a Toyota Corolla Cross or a Subaru Forester.

In March I bought a 2023 Chevy Trailblazer seemed fine for the first couple of months then now electrical problems with the screen connection it’s always shutting off and then some…
I would recommend that you go for Chevy Trax it’s reliable, but before you consult the dealer or your mechanic.
The Chevy Trax and Trailblazer are comparable in terms of engine power, interior room, fuel efficiency, and price. To evaluate comfort and performance, take a test drive. In addition, look at substitutes like the Subaru Forester or Toyota Corolla Cross to find more possibilities that suit your tastes and requirements.
If I’m deciding between the 2024 Chevy Trax and Trailblazer, I’d go with the Trailblazer. While the Trax is slightly smaller and more fuel-efficient, the Trailblazer offers more interior space, better performance with a bit more horsepower, and a taller ride height for improved visibility. The Trailblazer also has a longer list of available features and trim levels to choose from, allowing me to get more of the tech and comfort options I want. The price difference between similarly equipped Trax and Trailblazer models is minimal, so I feel the extra space, capability and customization options make the Trailblazer the better value overall. As long as I’m okay with slightly lower fuel economy, the Trailblazer is the compact SUV I’d pick between the two.
