I got a Chevrolet Equinox 2025 about two months ago, and I’ve been having issues with the infotainment system. Sometimes when I turn on the car, I cannot see what music is playing on the dashboard, but I can see it on the other screen. When this happens, I’m unable to change the music using the controls on the steering wheel. To fix this, I have to turn off and on my car, and then once I do that, I’m able to see the music on both the dashboard and the other screen. At that point, I’m able to use the steering wheel controls. Does anyone know why this could be happening? I have attached images showing what it looks like when it’s working (image with the artist Tyla) and what it looks like when the entertainment is not working (image with the artist Tems).
I haven’t dealt with a situation like that before. It sounds frustrating. Have you tried resetting the infotainment system?
This sounds like a software glitch. Have you checked for any updates for the infotainment system? Sometimes those updates can fix issues like this.
Maybe it’s a wiring issue. Have you taken it to the dealership to get it checked out? They might have more information.
I had a similar problem with my car. Sometimes just toggling the settings back and forth can help reset the display. It’s worth a try.
