2025 Trailblazer Dash Issues... anyone else dealing with this?

First time Chevy owner. Just got my 2025 Trailblazer LT and I’m having this weird issue where the whole dash goes black for a few seconds and then comes back on. It’s not just the radio, but also my CarPlay, WiFi, and even the odometer. I’ve taken it back to the dealership three times, but the tech there seriously told my husband I should make an appointment to get my eyes checked because ‘the sound on the radio is perfectly fine.’ :woman_facepalming: They had my car for five days, drove it for 100 miles, and said they didn’t see anything.

I’m heading to another dealership on Monday and bringing a bunch of videos I’ve recorded of this happening. I’m really starting to think I should just reach out to my salesperson about getting a different car. Anyone else had similar problems?

The infotainment crashed and rebooted. Mine does it every so often.

My odometer freezes and then stops too. At the risk of sounding dumb… are they all on the same grid? This is happening multiple times a day. I’ve got a few videos of it, so I’ll try to share a screencap or something.

@Madden
Oh no, mine doesn’t do that. I only lose the screen in the middle, not the whole gauge cluster.

GM has known infotainment issues across their cars. If it keeps happening, just take it back to the dealership. Should be covered under warranty.

It’s not just the infotainment, it’s also my odometer. I’m looking for another service center because the one I bought the SUV from doesn’t even believe it’s happening.

@Madden
Yeah, some places will deny it, but others will recognize the problem right away and get you scheduled for service. Just keep trying.

What should I say to make sure they take me seriously? Or should I just keep going from place to place until someone listens?

@Madden
Just tell them you’re having issues with the infotainment and the dash blacking out. The ones who know about it will usually schedule a service right away. If one place doesn’t take you seriously, definitely try another.

Honestly, I’d start recording every time it happens. That way, if they don’t believe you, you can just show them proof. Dealerships are weird like that sometimes.

I have a bunch of videos already, that’s why I’m hoping the next place I go to will actually see what I’m talking about.

I’d call Chevy customer support if the dealership is giving you a hard time. Sometimes going straight to the manufacturer gets things moving faster.

That’s a good idea. Didn’t even think about that. Might try if this next dealership doesn’t take care of it.
