I’m wondering if anyone knows whether a certain transmission will fit my truck. According to Google, it should, but I’ve seen some conflicting information from other sources. If someone could provide clarity, I’d appreciate it. I have a 1995 C1500 V6 with a single-piece 4L60E transmission. Unfortunately, the reverse gear has started slipping. I found a pulled 4L60E transmission for sale on the marketplace, but it’s a double-piece. The first two images show the style of the transmission I’m referring to.
Yes the bolt pattern is the same. The first pic is a F-body trans because of the tail housing. Those mounts on the rear are for the trailing arm. Still fits though
Just make sure to check the length of the driveshaft as well. It might need to be adjusted

Good point, I hadn’t thought about that. I’ll measure it before I install
You also might want to look into the crossmember position. It could be different between single and double piece
