Hey everyone, just this morning my 2010 Chevy Malibu LS 4cyl had the ABS and traction control lights come on. The brakes work fine, and there’s no squeaking. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks!
I would bet it’s an ABS sensor on one of the wheels. You might want to do a quick visual check to look for any damage. If that doesn’t help, you’ll need to use a proper scan tool to check which sensor might be disconnected or failed.

What does it mean if one of the sensors is bad? Can I still drive the car safely?

If an ABS sensor is bad, the ABS system won’t work properly, but you can still drive the car. Just be cautious, especially in slippery conditions since traction control might also be affected.
Have you checked the fuses? Sometimes a blown fuse can cause the ABS and traction control lights to come on.

Where can I find the fuse box? Is it easy to check?

The fuse box is usually under the dashboard on the driver’s side or in the engine compartment. It’s pretty straightforward; just look for a diagram on the cover.
Could it also be a problem with the brake fluid level? If it’s low, it might trigger those lights.

How do I check the brake fluid level? Is it safe to do it myself?
Yes, it’s safe. Just pop the hood and locate the brake fluid reservoir. It’s usually near the back of the engine bay. The level should be between the ‘min’ and ‘max’ lines.
