I recently swapped the halogen bulbs in my 2020 Blazer for LEDs, and I have noticed that the headlights are now aimed more down at the road instead of out in front of me. Is there a way to adjust the beam height to get better visibility on the road? Or would it be better to switch back to the halogen bulbs if I want to see more clearly while driving?
I have heard that halogen reflectors or projector lamps are designed to create a specific beam pattern for safety and legality based on the bulb they use. Changing the bulb might affect performance, reduce durability, or even create a beam that could blind other drivers.
I have ordered 8k HID bulbs to replace the LEDs I had installed, hoping it will enhance visibility. May just be the housings were not built for an LED swap-over
Be sure to pop the hood and locate the adjusting screw positioned on top of the headlights. This is a crucial step in ensuring optimal headlight alignment for maximum visibility and safety.
