Hey everyone! I’m having a super strange issue with my 2017 Chevy Traverse and its MyLink system. It’s showing text messages that definitely weren’t sent to my phone. Sometimes the messages are from numbers I don’t recognize, and other times they appear to be from people in my contacts but we never actually got those texts. It’s really confusing and a bit creepy. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do without taking it to a dealer? Thanks for any help!
Sounds like the messages are coming to your phone and then being hidden… maybe by a filter? Not sure about Android, but if you have an iPhone, you can check out some settings.
I had a similar issue with my Ford! It turned out to be a glitch in the system. Maybe try resetting MyLink?
Wow, that’s really weird. It might be a software bug or something. Have you checked for updates?
Could it be someone else’s texts getting mixed up? Like if you’re close to someone who has the same model?
I’d definitely take it to a dealer if it keeps happening. They might have seen this before.
