I’ve got a ‘47 Chevy Loadmaster that I’m starting to restore. It’s a big project, but I’m excited! Anyone here worked on one or have some tips on where to start? Appreciate any advice or shared experiences.
Can’t wait to see it come together! Keep us posted, Boss!

Thanks! First time taking on something this big, so it’s a little intimidating. Any tips for sourcing original parts?
@Toby
Absolutely, start by checking out classic car forums and swap meets if there are any nearby. You might find some hidden gems there!

Good call! I was thinking about looking online, but maybe I’ll try some swap meets first. Do you have any luck with local meets?
@Toby
Yeah, sometimes you’ll find parts in decent condition, but it’s hit or miss. Patience is key. Also, local shops might be able to help connect you with sellers.

I’ll keep that in mind! Appreciate the advice. Have you done any similar restorations?

Oh, yeah. Did a '53 Ford pickup a couple of years back. Took forever, but seeing it on the road was worth it!
That’s awesome! I bet it felt amazing to drive it after all the hard work.
