I’m looking at a 2025 Chevrolet Cavalier that a dealer is asking 16k dollars for in my country. Is it a Chevy or just a rebranded car? I can’t find much info online about it. I heard Mexico has a version, but the interior looks like a Malibu. Is it worth it or not?
It’s a rebadged Monza, made in China. So technically, it’s a Chevy but with some differences.
Thanks for the info. So is it a good buy at that price or should I look for something else?

Honestly, it depends on what you’re looking for. If you want something reliable and don’t mind the rebranding, it could be worth it.
Why is Chevy making cars with their name in China though? Feels kinda weird to me.

Yeah, I get that. They’re trying to compete in different markets, I suppose. Still seems off.
Just something to consider, I heard the Mexican version has a decent build quality. Maybe check reviews from users there.

Good point, I’ll look into that. Thanks for the tip.
