I just bought a 2025 Chevy Equinox, and there were some days as I was driving, I was getting an echo/helicopter like sound as I was speeding up on the highway. I thought the air conditioning was malfunctioning at first, then after work my coworker told me my rear right window was left wide open. A few weeks later the same thing happened but it was my rear left one. So it was driving with one rear window open causing the sound, but I know in both cases I didn’t roll them down myself. Anyone else have an issue with one window randomly opening on its own?
Is there any possibility that your arms are resting on the switches and you’re rolling them down without knowing it? If not, and it keeps happening, then just bring it into the dealership. They’ll sort it out under warranty.
No, I don’t rest my arms on the buttons. I just bought it a month ago. The only times I’ve rolled down any of the windows is the front driver side when I go through the drive-thru. That one is just a one touch to roll it down fully. The rear ones you need to hold down constantly, so there’s no way I could’ve done that accidentally.
I have a 2025 Equinox with the opposite problem. My driver side window module randomly doesn’t work. All the other windows can be rolled down from their door, but none of the driver’s window controls work.
