Equinox EV... Confused About Trim Levels

I’m looking into buying a new Chevy Equinox EV (FWD), but I’m noticing some discrepancies about the trim levels on official Chevy sites. On one site, the trims listed are just LT and RS, with the LT MSRP at $34,995 and the RS at $45,790. On another site, there are more trims listed like 2LT, 2RS, 3LT, 3RS, and the cheapest 2LT is at $43,295. I think the difference might be that they changed how trims work for 2025 compared to 2024 models, but I don’t get how the new 2025 LT can be cheaper than the 2024 2LT. What am I missing?

They streamlined the models for 2025. Now, I believe you just add different packages to either the LT or RS, depending on what you want. The reason why the LT base price is cheaper for 2025 is because a cheaper model has been released that wasn’t available for the 2024 versions.

Thanks for clarifying! So, it’s really just that the base models have been adjusted, right? Makes more sense now.

@JackyDaniel
Exactly! Plus, they removed some options from the base model, so the price difference isn’t too surprising.

Thank you so much! Just had to make sure I was understanding it all correctly.
