Equinox wifi problems… any fixes?

I have got a 2019 Equinox and for some reason, my phone can’t connect to the car’s wifi hotspot anymore. I tried removing and re-adding the wifi on my phone, but it’s still not working. Right now I can only stream using Bluetooth. Does anyone know what’s going on or have any fixes? Thanks.

I don’t use OnStar at all.

The thing is, to use the car’s Wi-Fi hotspot, you need an OnStar subscription. When you bought the car, you probably had an expired free trial. That’s why it worked before but doesn’t now.

If your phone is connecting but you can’t use the internet, it might be that your data plan is done, or there could be something wrong with the wifi module in the car.
