I got it at 86k miles from a police auction with a literal stack of every maintenance record it’s ever had, including a full engine replacement, but I know it needs new plugs. OEM is iridium, but does anyone have suggestions on which ones I should upgrade to? I’m looking to help this car’s performance.
Iridium is top of the line versus platinum or copper
Thanks! I’m very new at this so I’m trying to wrap my head around things. Is there a particular brand of coils you suggest

Factory issue coils would be my suggestion. Amazon coils fry themselves on the first start. Why would you need coils? You haven’t hit 300k yet. It has a new engine you said, so they won’t reuse old plugs
Sorry I… meant spark plugs. It’s stuttering a bit, though I wonder if there’s something else I should be checking
I absolutely love these Impalas and never knew they made them after 2014
Apparently they do! Well, did. This is a police model, and it looks way different than the same model
Needs some tint. For whatever reason, the Impala cabin gets hot as shit and stays hot
Bought my 2014 back in 2018 with 64k miles on it, now at 110k. Only major thing I’ve done is replace the radiator. It needs an a/c service though, possibly replaced. I love the power and mpg the car gets for being a full-size vehicle
I like my 2009 CVPI, retired cop car. Rule of thumb, don’t try and scrimp, find out what the police package is on that car and do it
Had a very rare thing happen a couple of days ago and blew my 02 CVPI up. Absolutely amazing vehicle and was more comfortable than my Cruze and Equinox but maintenance was unfortunately non-existent with previous owners
That model got a 6-speed auto, didn’t it? I was hunting one for a while before I got my Buick Regal
