We bought a new 2024 Chevy truck, and about two weeks ago, it started turning on by itself. I was just chilling at home, and suddenly the dogs started barking. It happened again in the middle of the night, and it’s been doing it multiple times since. Chevrolet says they can’t find any issues. I’ve had this truck for less than four months! What do you all think could be the problem?
That’s super weird! Sounds like there might be a ghost in the truck, lol. But seriously, it could be a software glitch.
I’ve heard of some vehicles having issues with keyless start systems acting up. Maybe it’s picking up a signal or something?

Yeah, definitely check if there’s anything nearby that could interfere with the signal.
If it’s still under warranty, I’d keep pushing them to investigate. You shouldn’t have to deal with that!
Could be a faulty ignition switch too. I’d take it back and insist they fix it before it gets worse.
I’d try resetting the truck’s computer if you can. Sometimes that helps with weird electronic issues.
