Does anyone have like a general estimate of the repair for this? I was trying to back out of a wrong lane into a parking lot and had someone raging at me and clipped my truck on the metal rails. I have a Chevy Silverado 2022 if that helps.
Probably somewhere between 7-12k. You need a new fender and bumper. Might need a door; I can’t tell if the cab corner is damaged, bedside, and paint. I can’t tell from the pictures if there are dents or just scrapes. If parts aren’t dented up, probably somewhere around 5k, but they look dented from the picture.
The second picture there’s only one dent and the front there’s only one dent too. Still really unfortunate though, thanks!
The front is going to cost 7600; I hit a deer, that’s what it cost on the front.
Damn really? For just that corner part?
Depends on the truck. Some have just an upper fascia that you can replace. Others require the entire front bumper. Neither option is hard to replace, as long as you got a trim removal tool, T15 bit, 8mm, and 10mm sockets. Just gotta be able to take the front wheels off. I do at least 1 a week.
Lemme try to get some more photos rq!
Sounds like a rough situation. Hopefully, it’s not as bad as it looks.
I had a similar issue with my Silverado, and it cost around 8k to fix everything. Just don’t rush into repairs.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely take my time.
Make sure to get a few quotes from different shops. Prices can vary a lot.
If you need to replace the bumper, check if you can get an aftermarket one. It might save you some cash.
Don’t forget to consider paint costs. Sometimes that’s the biggest part of the job.
I would suggest checking for any hidden damages. Sometimes what you see isn’t the full story.
Good point, I’ll make sure to check thoroughly.
If you have insurance, see if they can help cover some costs. It might be worth it.
