@THEROUX In cases when the car had a solid service history with us, I have replaced turbos. I would suppose that before 150k, it would require a turbo if I owned one. An intake manifold, perhaps. Would most likely replace the water outlet in advance when the turbo fails or it’s time to replace the coolant.

They are basic model cars with low longevity. I believe that how a vehicle is optioned has less to do with its longevity than how it is mechanically put together. Its little turbocharged four-cylinder engine isn’t particularly strong, but it can achieve nearly 40 miles per gallon.
