It’s a 1998 S10, essentially an SS without the engine. Chevrolet had a lot of extra SS parts, so they added them to the base model with the 4-cylinder engine. It runs well and has just over 223,000 miles. I know this might seem like a boring post, but I’m 18, and it’s my first vehicle—I thought someone else might share my excitement!
I need to fix some wiring repairs on my 2002 S15, but it’s a really fun little truck!

Congratulations! I had an S10 from that generation as well. My dad got new car fever when he saw it and ended up buying the GMC version. Both are fantastic trucks! I really wish they offered something similar today.

Look for a 1998-2003 S10 Blazer to upgrade the front end. They came with nicer chrome and painted options instead of just the plain black ones.
It’s your first vehicle, so of course you should be excited! On top of that, you’ve got a solid ride that’s perfect for new drivers. If you take good care of it, it’ll serve you well for years.
