I just leased my first Chevy Trax today, and I cannot for the life of me find the lower car seat anchors. Digging in the cushion where they typically are in cars, all I feel is a cable. Please help!!
Congrats on the new Trax! The anchors can be tricky to find. They should be in the seat base, but sometimes they’re hidden under the fabric. Try feeling around a bit more or check your manual.
Yeah, I had the same issue with mine. If you pull the seat cushion up a bit, you might be able to see them more clearly. They can be pretty well tucked away.

Thanks! I’ll try pulling the cushion up a bit. I didn’t want to break anything, lol.
If you’re still having trouble, maybe check out some online videos. They often show where the anchors are located in different models.
Make sure the car is parked on a flat surface. Sometimes the angle can make it harder to find those anchors. Good luck!
The anchors should be near the base of the seat, usually covered by a flap. If all else fails, the dealership should be able to help you out.
