I’m looking for a quieter replacement for these tires on my ‘17 Silverado. What do you recommend?
Just about anything else. Ironman’s are super noisy because of the tread pattern. Many of the Toyo’s are really good. Even the Open Country M/T is pretty quiet for a mud tire.
Ironmans are unfortunately loud tires. BF Goodrich, Nitto, or Yokohama are all excellent options that I have used on different trucks.
Well, first of all, get your front end looked at because you should not have cupping on the tires like that.
The Kumho Road Venture A/T52 is going to be about the quietest thing you can get in that size. Anything will be an improvement over Chinese mud tires.
General Grabber ATx comes in that size. Great tires. Looks like you have some alignment issues. There is significant chop on the tread block there.
Toyo AT II, Toyo RT, Nitto Recon Grapplers. All have been nice and quiet. The RT’s are nice if you go off-road a lot.
I just put some General Grabbers ATx on my Trax. They are quieter than I thought they would be. I love them. They are meaty.
Hankook A/T. Nice tire. Reasonable tread. Rides nice.
Cooper Defender AT3.
Judging by how your tires look, I have a feeling tires are the least of your worries. Getting suspension and steering looked at is a good start along with an alignment. Those tires are shredded from bad suspension/alignment.
Nitto Mud Grapplers.
First time owning a truck? Tough tires are loud haha.
