Hey there, I have an 08 Highlander with 200k miles that’s no longer safe to drive, even with regular $3k repairs every 3 months.
I am test-driving, and likely buying, a Chevy Equinox tomorrow. Does anyone have experience with this model? Are there common issues to watch out for? Also, how is the trunk space? I am a dog walker and must fit up to 6 dogs one in the rear seat and the rest in the trunk. Will it be spacious enough?
I previously owned a 6-cylinder 2015 Equinox, which proved to be a reliable vehicle. Recently, I traded it in for a new one. In my experience, the V6 engine posed no issues. However, I’m uncertain about the 4-cylinder version.
My car has the same 2.4 engine, and it has proven to be dependable. No problems, and it always gets going.
You’ll be sorry. I am constantly working on these. Whether it’s the 6-cyl or the 4-banger makes no difference. They are worthless.
