Online parts order for display screens keep getting canceled

Does anyone know if I can get ahold of a screen? I have someone ready to install if I can’t do it myself. I’ve placed orders for this screen on two different sites, Gateway Pars Online and GM Parts Direct. Both orders went through, then a day later were canceled as ‘unable to fulfill.’ The latter said it had to go through a local dealer.

I was trying to save a few bucks because this is my fault. I assume this <$200 part I kept ordering online will cost $1000+ at the dealer.

Any experience with this? 2021 Tahoe.

They might be on backorder. I’d try LKQ, they normally keep vehicles 2010 and newer.

I gotta know how this happened haha? I always wonder how people crack these screens given their location.

I wish it was a funny story. Our family is in a bit of crisis with kid dropping out of school, and this is a product of too much stress, not enough coping skills, if I’m being perfectly honest.

@Greer
Oof, that’s rough, my guy.

@Greer
I’ve done the same thing. Not in the same situation as you, but I’ve done it. I understand lol.

Grabbed it as a brace while leaning over to grab a French fry off the passenger’s side floor. That’s my guess lol I’m also interested.

I think I see an ass print.

Try eBay. I got my screen for a 2019 E300 for $400. The dealership wanted $1900 for parts and installation.

Is this the part you ordered?

Or if this isn’t it, maybe try an aftermarket replacement on Amazon:

@Charlotte
This one on eBay seems the best option.

Schram Automotive in Waterford, Michigan will have what you need. I don’t have their phone number, but a Google search should do.
