I am so upset about Hyundai that I’m considering the Trax. I’ve received an offer on my Elantra and am considering it. I am seeking some input on the Chevrolet brand; I’ve been pleased with my service.
I have been a Chevy guy since 1978. Been happy with Chevy vehicles.
I have only bought Chevys for the past six years and haven’t had a single issue with my Silverado, my wife’s Blazer, or my new 2025 Trax, even though the Trax is relatively new. I enjoy it so far; it’s the perfect small run-around vehicle, and I got it paid off promptly so I can give it to my daughter when she’s old enough to drive. That being said, I dislike the Trax for long journeys and prefer the Blazer, but it’s a decent, economical vehicle that’s surprisingly pleasant to drive daily.
I love my Trax thus far. Took it for a 12 hour trip and it performed very well.
I have had two newer trax in the last year and they both are doing well with long trips.
Oh to be clear there’s nothing wrong with it on long trips, just did a 4 hour trip to the beach in the Trax two weeks ago. Just prefer having a larger vehicle with a bigger engine for the mountain driving we usually have to do. Semi traffic on 81 in VA is no fun lol.
Oh for mountain driving…yeah that makes way more sense. Lol totally understand that.
I’ve had the 25 Trax LT for about 30 days now, having previously had a Ford Edge and a Nissan Xterra. The Trax features a terrific amenity package regardless of trim level, and it is ideal for daily driving duties. I would advocate acquiring one, but not for the long run, but as a stepping stone. Solid interior and well-balanced ride. Definitely sporty and energetic. The only drawback is that the roof is a little small, making it difficult to glance over the hood. 9.5/10! I’d rather have had an RS2 because the steering wheel is awesome!
I have owned my 24 Trax for exactly one year. It’s been fantastic so far. Perfect local driver. Good on the freeway. But I just took a 400-mile scenic route across southeastern Ohio, up and down hills for days on end, and it went wonderfully.
In 2016, I swapped my 2010 Kia Soul for a Trax. (In 2010, someone asked me what type of automobile the Soul was—oh, the hamster car.) I just traded that in for a 2025 Chevy Trax. Read numerous professional reviews to ensure it was still the best option. I like the redesign, and the price is appropriate.
90% of the time, it’s just me and the automobile. The sizing is comfortable. This weekend, I need to fill it with stuff for an event. I am confident it will hold all I need to carry.
We have a 24. Wont ever buy or recommend another one to anyone
So im saying that about my Hyundai Elantra right now and have a list of reasons as to why, curious as to why you’re dissatisfied with yours
