I don’t know much about these or what a good value would be, but I have someone who wants to possibly trade this for one of my classic car restorations. The classic car restoration is valued at $50k. It’s got an LSX B15 with an LSA supercharger, stage 2 am, and running on E85. That’s all I know about it. I would appreciate any insight you can provide. Just comment or PM me.
If it’s the PPV Caprice, it’s probably worth 10-12.5k. If it’s the Chevy SS, those are worth 35-45k off the lot today. Special mods don’t usually add value to resale. I’d say this car is worth about 15-20k, but it looks like it was beaten up. Be careful.
It’s a 50k car if he’s throwing in a couple of kilos of weed with it lol. Probably a 25k car, max. I wouldn’t want someone else’s project car—no way to know what they’ve done to it.
If your classic is worth 50k, I’d say this isn’t the trade for you. But it’s still a cool car.
I’d definitely double-check to make sure it’s really a B15 first. Kind of an expensive motor for a car like this. Probably a 20-25k car if all the mods are legit, but the Zeta platform is pretty heavy, and you can’t fit wide tires in the rear. Nowhere near 50k though.
Definitely not a 50k car. Great engine, but a pretty average car overall. Unless you’re planning to surprise people at the drag strip, I don’t see the point of this build. If your classic is worth 50k, you should go buy an SS and supercharge that instead.
@Zadie
What would you say it’s even worth? I don’t think I’m going for it, but I just wanna know if this guy is blowing smoke or not.

Honestly, it all depends on the quality of the engine build, because that’s where the value is. A stock PPV like that would only be worth about 5k.
What year is this car? Even with Cadillac interior, it’s only a 13k car.

I think it’s a 2016. I’ve never heard of the Holdens, apparently it’s an Australian import. I believe it’s a PPV, though I’m not super familiar with these.
@Val
Holden is Chevy in Australia. They went out of business. They made similar cars to the US with different names. The PPV is a Caprice in the US, used by local police. The Commodore is the SS in the US. Personally, the Commodore is a better import than the PPV.
