Steering column keeps tilting after accident... any ideas?

I’m trying to help my husband with his brand new Chevy Blazer. He loves the car, but after getting broadsided by someone driving on the wrong side of a turnaround, the steering wheel keeps tilting slightly to the left or right. He’s taken it to the dealership three times already, but it’s still not fixed. It’s really driving him nuts. Anyone know what could be causing this or what else we should try? He just wants it back to how it was before the accident.

That sounds really frustrating! It could be that the alignment is off after the repairs. Have they checked that?

I’ve heard that sometimes the steering column can get misaligned during repairs. Maybe they need to adjust it properly at the dealership.

For sure, it’s worth asking about the alignment. Also, if they haven’t replaced the steering column parts that were damaged, that might be the culprit too.

How can we tell if they replaced everything? Is there a way to check?

Definitely keep pushing the dealership. Sometimes they need to be reminded that it’s still not right. Good luck!
