TPMS service light on my 2017 Equinox... any advice?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I tried searching for an answer and couldn’t find anything. Recently, I realized the tire shop didn’t reset my tire pressure system after they rotated my tires. I borrowed a TPMS re-learn tool for GM cars from a friend and did the re-learn process, which fixed the issue for about a week. Now, I’m getting a “Service Tire Monitor System” message when I start my car, the tire pressure light blinks for a bit before staying solid, and all my tire pressures show as “–” on the dashboard. Anyone ever dealt with this or know how to fix it?

I had the same issue. Sometimes the sensors just need to be reset again. Try doing the whole re-learn process once more.

Got it, I’ll give that another shot. Thanks for the tip!

Make sure all your tires are properly inflated before you do the re-learn. It might help clear the error.

Just had this happen last month. I ended up having to replace one of the sensors. Hope it doesn’t come to that for you!
