Soooo I replaced my transfer case motor switch and now when I try to put it in park it makes like a whining noise. What did I do wrong??? Thank y’all!
That whining noise can be a sign that something isn’t aligned properly. Did you check if the switch was installed correctly?
Whining noises can also indicate low fluid levels. Have you checked the transfer case fluid?
Sometimes it could just be air in the system after replacing parts. It might work itself out after some use.
Just to be safe, you might want to check the manual for any specific reset procedures after changing the switch.
