The Corvette insignia has had two crossing staffs with waving flags on each end since it was first used. Robert Bartholomew initially intended for the Corvette emblem to have an American flag on one side and a checkered racing flag on the other. It is an iconic American sports car produced by Chevrolet and has seen its logo evolve significantly since its debut in 1953.
