My dad has a 2011 Chevy Silverado, and I think it’s a mid trim model, but I’m not totally sure. Recently, his CD drive stopped working, so we’re looking to get a new radio. I noticed that a lot of the radios out there seem smaller than the one currently in the truck. Does anyone know which radio will fit and work properly with his Silverado? Thanks for the help!
You might want to check if it has a double DIN or single DIN slot. Most Silverados from that year use a double DIN.
Yeah, double DIN is common for that model. Brands like Pioneer or Kenwood have some good options that fit well.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check those brands out.
Make sure to get a wiring harness for easy installation. It’ll save you a lot of headaches!

Good idea! I’ll definitely grab a harness when I order the radio.
Also, don’t forget to check if you need an adapter for the steering wheel controls if he has that feature.

I didn’t think of that! I’ll look into it to make sure everything works.
If you’re looking for something with Bluetooth, make sure to check the specs. A lot of newer models have great features.
