My wife and I are thinking about getting a new car, and we’re leaning towards the Chevy Traverse since it feels like a mini van but isn’t one. We have family friends at a Chevy dealership nearby, so we’ve always had Chevys in the family. The 2023 Traverse caught my eye, especially because it has a V6 engine, and I’ve heard the 2024 models switched to a V4. There’s a used 2023 Traverse on the lot with 8,000 miles at a great price. I’m curious about what others think of their 2023 Traverse. Are you happy with your choice? Any issues I should know about? I’ve heard some rumors about transmission problems with older models, but I’m unsure if that’s the case for the 2023. I really appreciate any thoughts or experiences you have. Thanks!
If you have little kids, minivans are definitely the way to go. I get that they’re not the coolest, but they’re super functional. Tons of storage and you don’t have to worry about door dings. Plus, some of them have power doors, which is a game changer
I own a 2021 Traverse, which is pretty much the same as the 2023, and I absolutely love it. There’s so much room in there. I had an Explorer before, and it’s wild how much more space the Traverse offers
I have a 2024 Limited, which is basically just a 2023 with some updates. I loved my 2021 model so much that I had to get another one. I’ve driven it for 15,000 miles and haven’t had a single issue
I’ve heard about transmission issues with the older models too, but it seems like the 2023s might be better? At least that’s what I’m hoping for. If you’re getting a used one, make sure to check the service history
Honestly, the Traverse is a solid choice. It balances space and comfort pretty well. Just make sure to test drive it and check for any recalls, just in case
