Which Camaro model is your favourite?

My father had a 69. Midnight blue with white stripes. As a kid, I wondered why it didn’t have a clock. He clarified: “when you look this good, it doesn’t matter when you get there”

I will go with the 1969 Yenko COPO 9561 with the 427 L-72. Third from the left in the top row.

I don’t care as long as it’s a manual transmission. For nostalgic reasons. 79 and 86 were my favourites.

As a child, my dad owned 74 to 84… I will go this two model no matter what?

68-69 for just how iconic they are. Unlike the other versions, those two are timeless and will always look amazing.

Looks, 1988-1990 3rd gen, early 2nd gen, 1993-97 early 4th gen (quad headlights > CATFISH)Performance, 6th gen, 5th Gen, 4th gen CATFISH. As a Gen X member, I’ve owned a 3rd gen, 4th gen, currently 6th gen. Neighbor’s mom had a brown 1976 sans rear spoiler it was an ugly duckling compared to a 79-81 Z/28. I like the 1st Gen, but it wasn’t until 1970 (1970 1/2) that the Camaro became its “own car” not just a GM version of a Mustang. 1st Gen is a nice-looking car, too bad the Firebird/Trans Am did it better thanks to John Z Delorean. One reaches the automotive zen when one realizes sometimes the corporate cousin was slightly better looking (98-02 Trans Am, 77-78 Trans Am) And finally 91-92 Trans Am > than the Ferrari F-40 styled spoiler of the 91-92 Z/28.
