Why is this brand new truck listed for $15,700 off MSRP?

I’ve been doing some research into Chevy trucks and decided to pull up some dealerships to check the prices. A lot of them are going for well over 50k, sometimes even hitting 70k. But I stumbled upon this listing for a brand new truck that’s discounted by $15,700 off MSRP. That just seems insane to me. It’s 4x4 with a V8. I know it’s white, but for that much off, you could wrap it in another color and still be in the positive. Anyone got any idea why it’s so discounted?

Probably because it’s December and the truck is a 2024. They have 2025s rolling in, so they want to move the unit fast. Not a big deal.

I’ve never seen that much off MSRP straight from the website. Isn’t that under invoice?

Yeah, it does sound like a lot. You think they would negotiate more? Like a couple grand off if you pay cash?

Definitely worth asking! Sometimes they’re willing to cut a little more if it means closing a deal.

That’s a crazy discount! I wonder if it’s because of some promotion or just to clear inventory for the new models.

Could be! Dealerships often do that to get rid of last year’s models. Makes sense.

I’d definitely check if there are any issues with the truck. Sometimes big discounts mean there’s something off.

Good point! I’ll make sure to ask about that. Thanks for the heads up!

This is why I love shopping for cars at the end of the year. You can snag some sweet deals.

For real! Just gotta keep an eye out for these kinds of discounts. It’s a good time to buy.
