Once, the brake light caused it to be fixed. It is not working now once more. Any suggestions?
On our trucks, the brake light/release switch frequently malfunctions. Although it sounds like you may have replaced it once, you might as well give it another go because it is so simple and affordable. Ensure that the part is an OEM one. It may be a sticky pedal; try applying more pressure to the brake with your toe to see if it helps.
@CHRISTIANE able to attest Everything works now that I replaced my brake light switch.
Also on, is the ABS light on? If not, try the brake switch as previously mentioned. Check the speed sensor if it is.
I once misplaced the cruise control on my 09’. After the brake light switch was replaced, it worked well for around a year. once more ceased to work. Additionally, my service stability and service traction control began to activate. So I came to the same conclusion. I try changing the BLS once again, but nothing works. I can only sometimes get cruise if I fiddle with the brake pedal. Any suggestions?
Ah! So this really is it? I had a similar experience and since my boyfriend was out of town, I just had to call the mechanic to get it sorted. I have never bothered to know what he did to make it work. At least I know now.
