Impossible to undo the bolts behind the intake manifold due to the 45 degree angle. Even with an angled socket
I have never tried but need to do mine sooner rather than later, so I am just asking. You couldn’t get it with a box end wrench or maybe a flare nut wrench?
This up coming weekend I was planning on doing this same task. How hard is it?
@OliviaSmith It is not difficult, however, I recommend choosing a flat or as thin a socket as possible, as @Olivia 's post indicates that getting to them is the difficult part. I changed my spark plugs about a year ago and it was done in 20 minutes.
It can’t be impossible, but I couldn’t image working on vehicles with nails that long, so I applaud you for trying. If you can’t get a socket on it, remove other components to make room or use a ratcheting wrench.
