I just bought my 2016 Malibu LT and noticed that the trim around the radio is cracked. I’ve been searching everywhere for a replacement part, but I can’t find it for the life of me. I’m looking for suggestions on how to make it look decent or at least hide the crack. I’d prefer not to use a carbon fiber wrap if possible. Any thoughts?
Maybe try something like this 2016 Chevy Malibu Radio Cover. It could help cover up the crack and make it look nicer.
If you’re crafty, you could always use some adhesive trim or vinyl to cover the crack. It might not look perfect, but it’s a cheaper fix.
You could also consider painting it if you find a good color match. Just sand it down a bit first so the paint sticks well.
Have you checked local auto parts stores? Sometimes they carry replacement parts that you can’t find online.
