Hi all, I have a 2019 Chevy Equinox LT. Bluetooth music streaming is fine and works properly, but it doesn’t show the timer bar for the song that is playing. For example, a 3-minute song shows as 1:29 played and 1:31 remaining. Anyone know how to fix that?
That sounds annoying. Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting your Bluetooth? Sometimes that helps refresh the connection.

I haven’t tried that yet. I’ll give it a shot, thanks for the tip!
IDK if this is related, but I had a similar issue with my car. Updating the infotainment system software fixed it for me.

Oh, I didn’t think about that. How do I check for updates?
@Ollie
You can usually find the option in the settings menu of your infotainment system. Just look for ‘System Updates’ or something similar.
Sometimes the app you’re using to stream music can affect the display. Have you checked if there’s an update for that app?

Good point, I’ll check the app too. Thanks for the reminder!
I had this problem at one point too. A factory reset of the infotainment system resolved it for me. Just make sure to back up any settings first.

Wow, I hope it doesn’t come to that, but I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks!
Hopefully, one of these suggestions works for you. Let us know how it goes!
