Just got a 2021 Savana with 17k miles on it. It has a 6.6 L8T and a 6-speed transmission. I’ve only had it for a few months, but the shifting feels pretty rough. Especially when coming to a stop and it drops to 1st gear. My old Econoline was way smoother. Should I take it to the dealer before my warranty runs out?
Not normal at all! You should definitely get that checked out.
Yeah, hard shifting can be a sign of a problem. Better to get it looked at now while you still can.
Could be a transmission fluid issue or something else. Don’t wait until it gets worse!

Honestly, I had a similar issue with my truck and it turned out to be a simple fix. Definitely take it in!
I’ve heard some Savanas have shifting issues. Better safe than sorry, man.
