My husband and I recently purchased an Equinox, and we are already having alignment concerns. We took it in today, and they said it pulls, but the alignment was perfect. So they rotated the tires, and now it is pushing in the opposite direction. They said to come back in, and they would only need to change the tires. I don’t understand why they didn’t just do this instead of sending us home with it only to return it right away. Anyway, is this a common occurrence? Given how fresh it is, I believe this should not be happening. I was already apprehensive about acquiring this vehicle because of all the negative remarks, and now I can’t go back on what my guy was saying.

This shouldn’t happen. A good way to check a bad tire is to do a tire rotation. In this situation, I wouldn’t question the quality of the vehicle. It seems like you just got unlucky and the car came with a bad tire, which can happen. However, this should be a free fix, so don’t let the dealership try to charge you, especially if you just bought this car brand new.

Probably just a bad tire. I’m not sure about the 24s, but I’ve had my 19 since 2018 and have had no troubles. Don’t let bad feedback get to you. It is a solid vehicle.
