23’ Camaro LT1 help

I’m having some trouble with my 2023 Camaro LT1. When I start my vehicle, it hesitates and cranks for about half a second, then slows down and cranks for around 2 seconds before finally starting. After starting, the car begins to misfire and then throws an Electronic Spark Control code, P0300, along with a Knock Sensor error code after about 30 seconds. I could really use some advice on what might be causing this issue or how to fix it.

That sounds pretty frustrating. The P0300 code usually indicates a random misfire, which can be caused by several things. Have you checked the spark plugs and ignition coils? They could be the culprit.

IDK if you’ve looked into it yet, but sometimes a fuel delivery issue can also cause misfires. You might want to check the fuel injectors or the fuel pump.

If it keeps throwing the knock sensor code, it might also be worth having that checked. Sometimes they can fail and cause other issues.

Honestly, it might be a good idea to take it to a dealership or a trusted mechanic if you’re not sure how to troubleshoot it yourself. They can run a diagnostic to pinpoint the issue.
