So I just purchased a 2025 Equinox Activ yesterday. Drove it off the lot and my check engine light came on within 20 minutes. The car has a total of 16 miles on it. It’s currently at the dealership getting looked at, but I did some googling and found a lot of recent threads that are getting deleted or have no useful information or resolutions in them. I’m obviously hoping it’s something small and slightly inconvenient, and that the issue goes away. I figured I’d make a new post to ask if anyone has heard anything about this or if you experienced an issue, what ended up happening?
Did you read the codes?

Unfortunately no, I turned around and took it right back to the dealership. I’m about to call them to see if they have any updates or if they can tell me what the codes were.
@Michael
That makes sense. Hopefully, they can give you some clarity soon.
I’ve heard of others having similar issues with the Activ models. It seems like it could be a common glitch. Let us know what they say!

I will for sure! Just hoping it’s nothing too serious.
@Sky
Fingers crossed! New cars should be trouble-free, right?
