Anyone else getting white smoke from their Chevy Cruze?

Before you tell me it’s a lost cause and to get rid of it, yeah, I know. I’m trying to patch my 2015 Cruze up until I can buy a new car scot-free this summer. It’s winter here in the east, and I’ve noticed that every time I use the fan (heater or AC), I get a burning smell and white smoke coming from the front of my engine. Is this likely a simple issue under $1k, or do I just need to bite the bullet and get a new car?

I have absolutely no clue what that could be, but if I had to guess, it’s probably under a grand.

What the hell are you talking about? A 2015 Cruze definitely has a temperature gauge, and GM has never had an engine block recall on any vehicle.

I had white smoke coming from mine too, and it turned out to be a leak in the coolant system. It was an easy fix!
