Anyone know about Chevy watches from the 90s?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but thought I’d give it a shot. My dad was a GM mechanic for many years, and when I was a kid, he worked for a Chevy dealership. Yesterday, he was telling me about a watch he earned at work, probably in the late 90s or early 00s, that was stolen from the hotel pool area on one of our family vacations. He mentioned being in the ‘service guild’ and having to take tests to earn this. I quickly jotted down a note on my phone so I could look it up later. He said it was a ‘nice watch’ with the Chevrolet emblem on it. My dad never buys anything nice for himself, so I wanted to see if I could find one of these watches for him, particularly the specific kind that he earned back in the day. Any information would be helpful.

What do you mean by vintage watch sites? Like eBay or something?

Yeah, eBay is a good start. You might also find some collectors on Facebook groups.

Not exactly, but he said it had the Chevrolet emblem. I can ask him for more details.

I think I’ve seen similar watches at flea markets. Maybe try that too?

Pretty much, but they often have vendors selling all kinds of unique stuff.

Those watches were a big deal for employees back in the day. Your dad must have been proud to earn it.
